For Southwest Florida Scooters, changes to the existing osCommerce store were fairly routine. However, SWFS wanted a new "Customer Only Area" containing copyrighted downloads such as product manuals, safety articles, etc.. This area was to be protected from non-registered users as well as registered users whom had not placed an order. osWebDesigns was able to create and implement this feature in a very short amount of time; much to the satisfaction of SWFS.
SWFS also wanted more control over customer product reviews. Whenever a product review is submitted osCommerce immediately makes it publicly available and does not notify the store owner. With newly installed coding, SWFS is notified when a new review is submitted, and can scan it for typos or offensive content before posting the review for the public to see.
